Last revised: 01/28/2007

BabyNursery is committed to your privacy. One of the ways in which we demonstrate this commitment is through the care we take to protect the privacy of information that we collect when we host your data on our servers.

Our customers access our software products from our servers hosted at a world class data center.  Currently, we utilize web hosting services and data center facilities operated by FirstLink Technology, Inc. in Denver Colorado. BabyNursery has entered into binding legal agreements with FirstLink Technology, with the objective (among others) of protecting your privacy, and the privacy of the people who use our software.

Whenever the term "Customer Information" is used in this policy, we mean information about your end users stored by us or our hosting company.

We promise that we will not use Customer Information for the purposes of marketing to, or otherwise communicating directly with your end users. Nor will we give that information to a third party, unless we are required to do so in order to comply with the law. The only use that we will make of Customer Information is to host your data in accordance with the hosting agreement to which both of us are parties.

Cookies

A cookie is a small text file containing a unique identification number that is transferred from a web server to the end user's browser.  Standing alone, cookies do not identify you personally. They merely recognize your browser.  Cookies come in two flavors: session and persistent-based. Session cookies exist only during an online session. They disappear from your computer when you close your browser software or turn off your computer. Persistent cookies remain on your computer after you've closed your browser or turned off your computer. They include such information as a unique identifier for your browser.

BabyNursery uses session cookies containing encrypted information to allow the system to uniquely identify you while you are logged in. This information allows BabyNursery to process your online transactions and requests. Session cookies help us make sure you are who you say you are after you've logged in and are required in order to use the BabyNursery applications. BabyNursery uses persistent cookies, that only we can read and use, to identify the fact that you are a customer. We are especially careful about the security and confidentiality of the information stored in persistent cookies. For example, we do not store account numbers or passwords in persistent cookies. Users who disable their Web browsers' ability to accept cookies will be able to browse our Website but will not be able to successfully use our Services.
